TeenPaths is a non-profit organization the sole purpose of which is to help families of struggling teens, troubled teens, out-of-control teens, or defiant children find a path for change. We can help you find the right time-proven qualified program, residential school or alternative boarding academy. All of our suggested programs specialize in modifying your child's behavioral issues and social skills, while focusing on building successful relationships within the family. Most of our staff have had children in one of our programs, and are passionate about transfering their successful experience to your family.
The schools for troubled teens offered are licensed, fully accredited and available for boys and girls from ages 7-18. Behavioral modification retreats are now available for pre-teens (age 7-14).
Even the most loving and caring parent must sometimes recognize that the struggle with their defiant teen is so overwhelming that the assistance of a specialized boarding program is welcomed and in the best interest of their child. As parents with strong family values, we often feel that our kids are having problems that were never considered possible. However, it is seldom an issue of fixing a "broken kid". More often, the origins of these problems are deeply entangled with unrecognized or ineffective family communication skills fostering non-working relationship patterns.
A primary goal of our school programs is to carefully evaluate the root causes of negative patterns in our child and/or family and to then begin healing relationships within the family and beyond. One day we all should realize that we are the sum total of the choices we make in our lives. By developing an awareness of our non-working patterns, we can develop the discipline to make better choices, thus improving our methods for ensuring a successful, happy life.
We invite you to experience our Tips For Parents of Troubled Teens page, the Difficult Teen Test or the Self-Esteem Test that we have provided for a point of reference. These widgets should help you to evaluate the severity of your child's issue and your need for outside assistance.

The programs we offer are not state run residential therapy facilities but the cream of the crop boarding schools for teens in trouble. Unfortunately, we can not offer them free of charge because of the quality of staff, time-proven methods and safety throughout the program, We certainly challenge you to compare us to other programs. Check out some Testimonials or watch the Video presentation.
Ask yourself these questions...
Are you tired of the sleepless nights, the fighting, the guilt, the denial, the manipulation and the range of emotions that are a daily part of your life due to your teen's behavior?
Do you feel that your family is being torn apart and that you are helpless about what to do?
Have you tried therapy, wilderness programs, self-help programs, boot camps, charter schools, brain-washing or fear tactics or other programs that offered empty promises of a quick fix, only to have your troubled teen return to their old behaviors?
Do you fear that the next time your teen runs away, they may never return home?
There are no easy solutions. You cannot change the way your teen is behaving, but you can change what you are doing about it. Be part of the solution and contact us.

True re-enactment about a teen who succumbs to the pressures of girl culture, desires to be popular, and ends up a drug user. She then finds the help and support necessary to change her path, regain her self esteem and make working choices in her life. The script for this movie was actually written by the teen who was lost and found her way back. -- To top it all off, she portrays one of the teens in the movie. |
